What is this?

This side project started from a personal quest to create a system with well-structured storage for my invoices. So (1) I can see all the data clearly and analyze it and then (2) use this data to generate well-designed clean invoices that are consistent with my branding.

It was the “What if?” question that made me experiment with the Google Sheets + Cavalry integration and create this product. And then it grew into something bigger - this first version includes 5 custom templates for the Cavalry app and the backend Google Sheet template for the invoice data storage and analysis.

Yes, I'm well aware beautiful invoice won't bring you new clients, but it won't hurt to have one! And this system turned out to be a lot more than a pretty invoice generator.

Who is this for?

Let's start with who is this NOT for - big/medium-scale companies that need to send multiple invoices on a daily basis - it would definitely make more sense to have an automated CRM in this case.

This system was designed with smaller creative businesses in mind - freelancers and creatives who care about how their invoices/contracts/proposals look but also need all the data well-organized in one place.

(!) It's important to mention that Google Sheets integration in Cavalry software is a PRO feature, so in case you want to use the Invoice Templates you need to be a Cavalry PRO user. But you can also use the Google Sheets template on its own if you only want the management/analytics system :)

FAQ

• What do I need to use this?
  
  If you're planning to use Google Sheets Dashboard - just a free Google account will do. For the invoice template, you'll need to use the Cavalry App (PRO).
  
• What is included in the Google Sheets Template:
  
  1. Invoice Data - Database to add your invoices
  2. Invoice Stats - All the different monthly/yearly comparison charts and statistics
  3. Clients - Add your clients to this database so you can quickly add all the data to the invoices
  4. Currency - Choose from 1 of the 14 currencies
  5. Terms - The list of the terms you can select in your invoice (add additional ones if needed)
  6. Income Sources - Add passive income sources if you want to track that data
  7. Passive Income - Add passive income data here
  8. Active/Passive Stats - Analytics, charts, and data on Passive vs Active Income
     
• Is it easy to edit the Invoice Template?
  
  Each template comes with the settings in a Control Centre - where you can edit the invoice number, all the personal details, titles, fonts, colors, etc. You can always disconnect any controls from the Control Centre and change things manually.
