The Complete Cavalry Guide

I hope you find this collection of resources and information about the Cavalry app useful in your learning journey! As I'll update the database once a month you will have access to all the latest tutorials and articles, inspiration, and resources. You don’t need to duplicate it into your Notion space, in fact, you don’t even need a Notion account and you can access it as you would do with the website through the link.

What does the Cavalry Guide include: 

1. Building blocks - information on each behavior/utility/shape/effect with all the related tutorials, project files, and notes. There is also an indication if you can find an example tutorial inside for each particular behavior.
2. Shortcuts - a handy reminder of all the shortcuts + setup to save your custom ones.
3. Tutorials - I’ve watched hundreds(!) of tutorials for you and sorted them based on the level, whether you can use it with the free version or not, what building blocks are related to the tutorial, etc.
4. Resources - links for all the useful stuff about Cavalry
5. Interface - information on different interface features sourced from documentation. You can also cross-reference this database with tutorials or notes.
6. Project Files - selected project files for you to study, sorted by different authors, sources, utilities, etc. (Important! Actual project files are removed from the template to respect copyrights, but there is a link for each one where you can download it for free, you can also upload it into the database if you want. The exception is the tutorial files from the official cavalry YouTube channel which I’ve recreated following instructions)
7. Inspiration - links to artists that create beautiful work and can help inspire your next Cavalry project
8. Notes - I often find bits & pieces that can be helpful in the future and save them here so they won’t get lost. 
9. Knowledge - selection of articles related to Cavalry

No problem you can still access this template through the link and view it in your browser.

2. Do I need to pay to use Notion?

No, you can create a free account and it will work well.
